About James

James was born and raised in Toronto where music was a large part of his education. James attended St. Michael’s Cathedral Choir School, studied with the Royal Conservatory of music in both piano and voice and also studied under the direction of two tenors who were with the
Canadian Opera Company.

After attending the Humber College Music program in 1981 James moved to Guelph to study Psychology and Philosophy. James has become a very active member of the Guelph choral community and currently sings with the Guelph Chamber Choir, the University of Guelph
Symphonic Choir and St. George’s Anglican Choir. James also does solo work throughout Southern Ontario at special fund raising events, weddings and funerals.

While studying at the UofG James started TOTAL GARDENING SERVICES LTD while in second year as a means of financing his tuition and living expenses. 38 years later TOTAL GARDENING SERVICES LTD is a full scale landscape maintenance and snow & ice management company serving Guelph, Rockwood and Puslinch.
